We’re looking for a young, dynamic, entrepreneurial Retail sales rep to join our Team.

Ideally, you have 3+ years of experience selling Retail advertising in the Toronto market with a focus on local and regional advertisers, some experience with advertising agencies and a broad network of contacts in the advertising industry. You are self-motivated, aggressive, creative and independent with a proven sales track record.
You work hard, think on your feet, like to have fun and know how to close. You’d better, your success depends on it!
About the Job
The position offers a tremendous amount of flexibility and reward. You manage your own schedule working in a home-based office, and reporting directly to the CEO in Calgary. You will be currently the only Rep in the entire GTA – a huge opportunity, with no cap, and no territory limitations throughout the GTA!

BASE SALARY: $ 45,000
ON-TARGET VARIABLE: $ 25,000 – $40,000 (uncapped potential)
ON-TARGET EARNINGS: $ 70,000 – $85,000
BONUS TARGET EARNINGS: $ 85,000 – $100,000
OTHER: Home Based Office + Benefits + Profit Share
Prospecting for new accounts (target 20 Meetings / week)
Manage and grow a portfolio of existing/previous advertiser accounts
Cold calling on small, medium and large advertisers either directly or through their Ad Agency
Attaining and/or surpassing sales targets
Creating proposals for prospective advertisers
Providing our valued customers with creative and effective advertising solutions
Assisting clients with ad designs and coordinating with Production
Share success and ideas with a dynamic team of co-workers
3+ years of industry relevant Media Sales experience, with a focus on local advertisers.
Ability to close the deal
Strong network, relationships and proven sales results
Familiarity with Advertising Agencies and how they operate
A creative mindset which will allow you to source new clients and new opportunities
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
Strong Expertise in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
The right attitude – driven, passionate, persistent, strategic, accountable and fun
PREFER TO HAVE:
OOH sales experience
Relationships with Advertising Agencies
Some research knowledge with the ability to use numbers to back up your presentations
A University degree
Familiarity with CRM systems (Microsoft CRM, Salesforce.com etc.)
