Claudio Rodrigues – CEO and Co-Founder
Claudio is a proven brand builder and a leading expert on loyalty and reward programs. He first earned his stripes at American Express, where he excelled at both Consumer Card Marketing as well as Retail and Service establishment marketing, prior to being an integral member of the team that created and launched the Membership Rewards loyalty program – one of Canada’s first and most successful Loyalty programs which subsequently went on to be rolled out around the World.
He was then recruited to AIR MILES® (LoyaltyOne) to help with the launch and expansion of what was then a Start Up enterprise. He had much success there, over the next decade, helping to build one of Canada’s foremost consumer brands, in addition to consulting and training AIR MILES teams in the U.S. and Europe. Ten years ago, his entrepreneurial spirit led him away from AIR MILES to start his own Company (along with Brad Wolff) – Retail Media Group. The company has grown rapidly, from an initial start up in Calgary, with one main product – AdBar – to a National media and marketing powerhouse, with multiple marketing and media offerings.
Claudio holds an MBA from Queen’s University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Alberta. His personal motto is “Carpe Diem”, and his love of Good Food, Great Wine, Good Music (particularly Blues) and Glorious Single Malts, are well known. He calls himself an avid “but not very good” golfer and soccer player and is the proud father of two talented children, who always enrich his life from the ongoing, everyday memories to the breath-taking, unbelievable moments.
Brad Wolff – President and Co-Founder
Brad was born and raised on a grain farm in Saskatchewan. As a young teenager, he was put to work on weekends and summer holidays to help raise and harvest the crop each year. Modest roots, great parents and a strong work ethic have helped to shape his character … he is tenacious with a direct, honest and down to earth approach, which leads to enduring customer relationships.
Brad has enjoyed great success in sales throughout all aspects of his career beginning in the agricultural industry and then transitioning into both advertising and loyalty. He is also a leading expert in consumer loyalty and reward programs having worked at AIR MILES® (Loyalty One) on a select team tasked with the creation and launch of a US Coalition program. Focusing on sales and marketing, together with Claudio, he has built and manages one of Canada’s fastest growing businesses, Retail Media Group.
Graduating with Great Distinction from the University of Saskatchewan, Brad majored in Marketing and Finance. Today he pursues various athletic endeavors including road cycling, mountain biking and competing in the occasional triathlon or road biking competition. He also has big a passion for travel. In the summer of 2012 Brad became a father to an amazing little girl – this is proving to be his best adventure yet!
Jill Rodrigues – Executive Vice President
Jill Rodrigues is the third member of the Executive Team and co-principal in RMG. She oversees the operations and IT for both Advertising and Loyalty divisions of the business. She has been responsible for all the Systems and Logistics required to build the business from a single location to a nationwide distribution network. Her intuitive problem solving and operational expertise have been instrumental from contributing to the four patents held by the company, to the invention of mechanical assembly lines, to the implementation of the nationwide distribution system that offers an unparalleled level of customer service to our hundreds of customers. In addition, she has overseen the creation of proprietary Marketing and Inventory management software, and a robust CRM platform which continues to evolve under her guidance.
Jill comes from a Rehab Med background managing staff, patients and operations. She started at the Scarborough Centenary Hospital in Toronto, where she created and launched an Employee Rehab Unit. She subsequently moved to Alberta, where she managed the Calgary office of the Canadian Back Institute. Jill graduated top of her class with a BSc Honours (Physical Therapy) from the University of Alberta. She is the mother of two wonderful teenagers, and she spends most of her free time attending, directing and enabling the many activities they are actively engaged in. In the little remaining spare time, her favourite activities include hiking, water-skiing, touring Wineries and “being a Foodie” (both cooking and consuming!). She is also the President of the Alberta Longhorn Robotics Society (it’s an interesting story, just ask her!).
Stuart Weinman – Vice President, Sales
Stuart Weinman is responsible for leading a national sales-force in promoting AIR MILES INCENTIVES® to small and medium sized corporations.
His expertise lies in the field of Sales. His past experiences include: National director of sales AVW Telav, Director of sales at Securit records management, and Director of sales Sprint Canada. With this experience, Stuart has grown into a natural sales leader and has a knack for leading his Sales team to attain personal and company goals.
Stuart attended the business program at Seneca College. He has a passion for coaching his son’s hockey team allowing him to stay involved with his family and in the sport he grew up playing.
Carolyn Robertson – Vice President, Marketing & Strategy
As part of the leadership team, Carolyn is responsible for defining the marketing strategy for AIR MILES INCENTIVES and for developing a comprehensive marketing plan to achieve the business’ growth targets.
Carolyn brings over 15 years of experience as an accomplished CRM Marketer working within various industries including: Grocery & Drug (Canada & US); Telecommunications; Airline; Financial Services; Automotive & Fuel; Real Estate; Food Service & Restaurant. Having spent over 10 years in Client & Consulting Services at LoyaltyOne/AIR MILES Reward Program, her experience is rooted in loyalty.
Carolyn holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary. She is an active volunteer and currently serves as the Chair of the Board of the Famous Five Foundation and as a senior associate with the Calgary Stampede. Carolyn is an adoring mom to a son & a daughter who are twins and, as such, spends her time keeping up with hockey tournament, swim meet, and music recital commitments. Thankfully, she also enjoys running, so that helps.
Karen Dalton – Vice President, Finance
Karen Dalton has built Retail Media Group’s accounting department over the past 7 years to accommodate the ever growing and expanding business it is today. Karen is responsible for everything accounting!
A Chartered Accountant, Karen spent most of her post designation career in the internal audit role at various financial institutions which included the role of Vice President, Internal Audit at ING Bank of Canada. With Karen’s loyalty and love for numbers, she has built a department that runs smoothly and can accommodate one of Canada’s fastest growing companies!
Karen graduated from University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Commerce which lead her to completing her CA designation. Karen is thrilled to be a mother of 2, step-mother of 5 and grandmother of 3. Her days are filled with family and enjoying her weekends at the lake!
